Jeff Halladay, MD has been a board-certified neurologist and has also worked as a neuromuscular sub-specialist in the past. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions of the brain, spine, nervous system and muscle. Common conditions seen include painful peripheral neuropathies, pinched nerves, metabolic disorders and muscular dystrophies, movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease or tremor, stroke, headaches, multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune nerve disease, dizziness and vertigo, epilepsy and seizures, and Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Professional Background

Jeff has been practicing medicine since internship in 2007. He has covered a variety of hospitals - from over 1000 beds to less than 200 beds. In his role of 'Locums' he tries to find communities that he can serve best and this can be in a lot of different places. In addition to full time roles in Michigan and Minnesota he has worked part time in Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas. Prior to being a physician he also worked in engeering at manufacturing facilities. He worked for an artificial intelligence company in the 1990s that grew into early web design, enterprise sofware, and database maintenance. He worked for a consulting company and did projects for large hospitals, healthcare systems, pharmacies, and governments. He avoided working directly for pharmaceutical companies and does not have disclosures for conflict of interest. As a younger man, he did research projects in nucleic acid vaccines, tissue grafts, biomaterials, and cancer vaccines, and several other areas but nothing that resulted in significant discoveries.
